In addition to trail rides, Andy offers many other adventures: - Go back in time as you enjoy this simple pleasure of a bygone era. Cattle Drives - Be a cowboy for
three days! Learn to rope and with the cowboys. Drive cattle through the
southern Black Hills - Jewel Cave/Hell Canyon area. Limited spaces
available. Early reservations and deposit required. Spring drive end of
May, Fall drive end of October.
Weddings! - Offered all seasons at many locations in the Hills using buggies, sleighs, wagons, or bobsled. Ask about the bride and groom departing on a get-away horse!! Overnight Camping and Fishing Trips - A great way to get away and unwind from the stress of the job. Bring your own tent and sleeping bag. |

Andy has been on horseback since
he was old enough to walk, and started leading trail rides at the age of nine, from his
family's dude ranch near Waterloo, Iowa. He'll lead you on a real trail
ride, up secluded elk trails that wind
around wooded mountain terrain. As the horses wind their way through stands of trees, over
fallen logs and across creeks, they head to the mountain peak for breathtaking 85-mile
view! Choose your own gate! Andy will allow more experienced riders to
exercise their skills and trot/gallop. This is not a typical
head-to-tail trail ride.
Personable
and charming, Andy was awarded the "Quality Community Service
Award" from the State of South Dakota.
